Our expert's take

A simple, light 125cc for everyday city riding and short commutes

We sell this TVS Rockz 125 as a new motorcycle for straightforward city use. We offer delivery and the bike is sold with the paperwork you need to register it—please register the bike and wear a helmet when you ride. Ask us about warranty terms.

The 125cc single-cylinder engine and 4 speed gearbox are easy to work on. The double clutch system gives you the option of manual or semi-automatic shifting, which helps in stop-start traffic.

Keep in mind the 4 Liter tank is small and the carburetor prefers clean fuel; in Nigeria you should use good quality petrol and regular engine oil. Check the invoice, customs papers and the tool kit when the bike arrives, and follow the owner's manual for running-in.

Spares for common commuter 125cc models are generally easy to find, but secure parking and a good lock are worth the cost in busy areas.

What we like

  • Lightweight at 107 kg for easy handling
  • 125cc SOHC single-cylinder engine
  • Double clutch system for manual or semi-automatic use
  • Disc brakes front and rear for confident stopping

What to keep in mind

  • Fuel tank is only 4 Liters
  • Carburetor needs decent fuel quality

Best for: City commuting and short trips

Not for: Long-distance touring or heavy loads

Questions about this bike

Is it brand-new?

Yes. Every TVS commuter bike we sell is brand-new and unregistered — never tokunbo, never used. See how to check that a motorcycle is new when it arrives.

Can it carry a passenger and a load?

It is built for everyday work with a rider and a passenger. For the maximum load, check the manufacturer's figure in the specifications or ask us — overloading wears the engine, chain and tyres faster.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty period is confirmed on your order against factory defects — for example in the engine, gearbox or electrics. Wear parts (tyres, brake pads, chain and sprockets, bulbs, oil) and damage from accidents or poor maintenance are not covered. See Warranty & service.

How is it delivered?
